CONFIDENCE IS A PAYCHECK
(Do we really need all this government?)
U.S. politicians and bureaucrats are the highest paid on the planet! The world's second highest paid politicians and bureaucrats are in Europe, and they only make half or less than our glorious public servants! Lately our pols, particularly the republican party pols, cry about President Obama's policies, shouting into the media, "Europe is socialist!" This is not true, and what they really mean is, "Don't take our gravy train!" What few American citizens realize is that the politicians and corporations are champion pie-eaters at this depression-table. They have stuffed their guts so fast and furiously and for so long that they actually BROKE the pie-maker! The pie-makers are all of us who work for a living.
Now, our politicians, who were mostly born rich and go on permanant vacation while in office, have no sense of the value of a dollar. Worse, they have no concept of hard labor and real work. They hire consultants to tell them statistics and economic generalities about labor, but have never broken a sweat or incurred a callus or blister from any personal encounter with real work.
This is one of the reasons we are stuck with this stimulus package giveaway nonsense. They are blind to work projects. There are thousands of things that we need to be doing as a nation that require work, but our self-proclaimed "best and brightest" politicians have only their one, standard "solution" of throwing our money at the problem after taking one-third of it to set up and pay a new bureaucracy that "administers" the "program". This type of "thinking" does little, if anything, for the problem, and results in an explosion of waste, bloated gov't and overpaid bureaucrats. Try trimming waste, instead, like this:
Now, I know that overly wealthy people love to buy new cars every year, but this is one of the most wasteful things that planet earth has ever seen except for the politicians constant attacks on other nations. There are no technological breakthroughs that justify hundreds of new model cars every year. Cars do not wear out after even three years. Since this business model is finally crashing after decades of extravagant waste, why not let it die and morph into the utilitarian enterprize that it should have been in the first place?
The same should go for the air travel industry. This industry is constantly needing bailouts, subsidies, loans and mergers to stay afloat. It pollutes our air almost as much as the auto industries. People should be incentivised to work and visit by fiber optic telepresence instead of clogging the streets and skys.
Much as the super-rich love to make money using only money, we should chop off most of the finance industry, which is a parasite upon society. Look at how it has bloated with all the imaginary money flushing about the world. Work is value, not money. Any fool can make money, but it takes labor and brains to make value. This is why we are being sucked white by parasites who live off of money and our labor.
These are just a few examples of the GIGANTIC waste of human and other resources that should have fed technological, environmental and ecological innovation. Like Ross Perot said in 1992, "Great plans are lying around all over the place!"
The politicians sicced their FBI thugs on Perot, threatening his family with an anonymous phone call. Now we are stuck with politicians forcing us to pay for their own special, self-benefitting, gov't-expanding plans. Why allow this to occur? See: "Electronic Voting: the Ferrari of Citizen Empowerment", and see how we can fix govt!
