IDIOT PROOF GOVERNMENT

A modern society has to have a way to make things idiot proof, else we are doomed to the society we suffer today, where progress occurs only after disaster and catastrophe. One of our main problems is that we allow election with virtually no merit selection. The reins of power are given to the prettiest faces, the widest grins, and the fastest talkers, instead of persons with the best education, highest intelligence or best ideas. This is why we have greedy gluttons of privilege wrecking the place instead of altruists helping everyone. This is why we have crisis management instead of govt planning for the future. We have endless fighting for control of the taxpayer money volcano so that a bunch of reprobates can collect bribes and fly all over the globe on permanent vacation. Soon as one party can engineer the de-election of its twin, the new occupants immediately begin tearing out any progress that might have occurred under the previous party.

Aren't citizens tired of getting punched in the gut by the politicians of both parties? And their corporate masters?

We already know what happens when we leave our. fate in the hands of the rich and greedy, We just suffered a world-wide robbery by the bankers, brokers, politicians, insurers and financiers. We know that if we let them continue to steal us blind, deaf and dumb, it will actually kill off our entire species, (See: "Humans Extinct by 2200 AD") On global warming, our politicians say, "Let's switch the name to something less scary, such as "climate change" Their media lapdogs agree, and thus our 'leaders' have fixed their political problem by merely adjusting perception of reality. Even so, citizens over 30 see the gradual disappearance of winter and the toxification of our air, water and earth. We demand action The politicians pull out a phony fix called 'cap and trade' that pretends to limit greenhouse gas production. All it really does is create another thick layer of govt bureaucracy to suck up tax cash and push paper. It feeds Wall street fat cats who will sell the 'Pollution Units'. It forces corporations to create their own, countervening bureaucracies to follow govt regulatory demands and make certain that all costs, including administrative costs, are passed on to consumers. We increase waste and bloat govt where we should simply discourage energy use with taxes that yo directly to green energy production. This cap and trade nonsense is from the supposed 'green' politicians. The other party's politicians whine, "Let THE MARKETS DECIDE!" This is the leaders following the merchants. Merchants want no regulation and no taxes, and their profit margins are so high that they have ALWAYS outbid citizens on purchasing exemptions from the politician's laws.            Merchants, hiding behind the US Chamber of Commerce, paid out politicians to stealthily revoke laws that protected us from exploitation by merchants. These processes led directly to the world-wide financial ripoff and the polluter's paradise that we suffer now.

The way it is now, our politicians are like Bernie Madoff, and we are like the people who gave him our money and got ripped off: Now Madoff's victims are crying into the microphones and on TV, carefully concealing the fact that they knew it was a crooked deal and thought that they were doing the stealing with a master financial criminal. They did not want to see the crooked deals or track the investments themselves. That would give them guilty knowledge if they got caught. We know our politicians are master criminals, but we think that they are OUR master criminals.

They aren't: they work for their parties and themselves only, Another fact is that mankind can no longer afford to let our politicians and merchants run amok. Like dogs, continually sniffing out personal wealth and power, out leaders need leashes, They need us to yank them back to work instead of letting them chase every stray cat or sniff every whizzed-on surface.

How? We put the leash on them by setting them to specific tasks, just like any business would. We put blinders on them, too, which keep them from getting distracted from the task. As it is now, their 'Job' is to collect the free money, sell the most laws, spend the most taxes, sell off the most assets: accrue liability: access maximum credit while globetrotting in search for more opportunity and a more luxurious lifestyle for them and their families. After we yet their leashes and blinders on, global travel will be a reward, not a freebie, Bribery will be punished, not celebrated. ("Legalize Bribery", "War on Govt Corruption" et al) Laws will be scientific, not masterpieces of lawcrat loopholes, trap doors and escape clauses. Instead of letting laws be sold by sleazy rhetoric-artists, laws will be carefully scrutinized by citizens, not just lawyers, we will find that we don't need politicians at all, ("Electronic Voting' the Ferrari of Citizen Emporerment") The way we make govt idiot-proof is by creating a permanent part of the constitution that is safeguarded from the meddling of politicians. Higher in rank than mere amendments will be the self-evident truths. The first self-evident truth that everyone can agree on is that there is a limit to the number of people that the Earth can support. From this fact follows the fact that all of our problems stem from overpopulation, All our problems will be solved or made less severe once we control and lower our population. This being so, we set our politicians to the task of providing incentives to lower our population. You see the trend here.

From such obvious facts flow edicts. The first edict is that politicians will work toward encouraging a smaller, higher-quality population. Another highly-ranked edict would be to make education a much higher priority than it is.    (Education is squeezed out because politicians and religionists prefer citizens who are ignorant and easy to dupe, and easy to stampede) A third edict would set for politicians a priority of preserving and repairing the ecology. A fourth edict would set them to the task of raising the quality of life for the poor and disenfranchised on the basis of work, learning and merit, and to lowering the amount of excess of the too-rich. Another edict would be to stop wasting so many trillion$ on mass murder weapons systems and the military welfare that accompanies them. (Education and useful projects are squeezed out by a bloated military budget larger than the combined military expenditures of the twelve next largest nations.) This is senssenseless waste used by politicians more for re-election and skim than for "DEFENSE". Since the second biggest waste of money, materials and humanity that politicians and merchants cause occurs due to their periodic world-wide robberies via financial crimes, citizens need to permanently fix this problem by forcing a transaction tax on brokers. This tax will pay for their next mega-ripoff. Next, we re-enact the barriers that politicians such as John 'Keating five" McCain removed between brokerage houses and banks. (GlassStiegal Act) We then tuck these provisions so high up in the constitution that the politicians can't reach them. We make them permanent and we emplace swift, harsh punishments on politicians caught trying to enact loophole laws to get around them. These punishments are JAIL, not fines. Politicians laugh at fines. Any politician can pay fines or get their patron corporations to pay their fines. But politicians are terrified of jail, which is why almost no political crime leads to jail. Only citizens have large chunks of our lives stolen from us.
