CRIME FACTORY CURE
2006 James Bauhaus
Though the govcrats are master semanticists and thus love to sell their prisons to the masses as "Correctional Facilities", this is a misnomer at best and a carefully crafted prop-agenda effort at worst. In actual fact, prisons are nothing less than crime creation factories. Whether or not the govcrats connected to the prison industry know this or do this on purpose, they to know by the statistics that they keep that their efforts indeed create more crime rather than "correct" it in any sense of the word. To see this fact one need only peruse Department of Justice statistics on recidivism rates of various groups and notice how many of their captives keep returning and returning to prison, five to eight times in many cases, despite massive negative reenforcement. Not all of this can be accounted for by the cops', lawyers' and media's standard practice of preferring to recycle old, previously-caught criminals rather than find the upcoming crop of new criminals. Also, as unscrupulous persons get older, they become much less eager to engage in outrageous behavior. The trouble here is that by this time the judges and parole-crats have finally decided to never let them loose again no matter how "corrected" they are able to demonstrate themselves to be. When they realize that their fate is to die in prison oppression, they tend to devote the remainder of their lives to corrupting the child-like, unsophisticated minds of younger, more gullible captives as a means of getting back at the state. The become bitter, old men dedicated to sabotaging progress in any small way that they can
These are but two of the many processes that feed crime in places supposedly designed to "correct" it, yet these examples are enough to show obviously that the efforts of crime industry personnel have the opposite effect of their stated policies and goals.
Also, stated and written official policies and goals often get twisted as they flow down the chain of bureaucrats and effectors. The goals and philosophies of the high-level Correctional "Experts" selected by the govt and media to speak at hearings, seminars and to the public on television are often not shared by the low-level guards who have to work in actual physical contact with their captives. These unprotected, vulnerable grunts of the prison workforce fall prey to the cops' and media's near hysterical propaganda about dangerous gangs in prison. A collection of like-minded idiots (that is, the clinical sense of the word, “ID-iots,” meaning persons driven primarily by their Instinctual Drives) and friends do not make up any type of effective or truly organized gang, only the illusion of one.
This is especially true and obvious once one realizes that these "gangs" live in tiny, toiletsized cages within slightly larger cages within mini-prisons that form larger prisons that are widely scattered in out-of-the-way places throughout the fifty states. What the cop/media alliance calls "gangs" is more properly labeled mere cultural and ethnical groups. Every piece of their incoming mail is thoroughly snooped through. Much of their outgoing mail in either targeted for data-mining or snooped through daily at random. Every financial transaction that they are able to make is heavily scrutinized by multiple layers of govcrats.
Every phone call the captives make is recorded and stored for possible later snoopage if not scrutinized immediately as it is made. (Often the captives' phone calls are piped into the bullpens of low-level bureaucrats anxious and eager to promote themselves into higher positions and better conditions by any means, including mining prisoners' communications with their loved ones. Any effort to sidestep prison oppression is reported as it is discovered.) Govcrats use prisoners and prison conditions to hone their skills of tracking and controlling every aspect of peoples' lives. Such super-surveillance and super-oppression has led directly to the development of so-called CRIMINAL ASSOCIATION SOFTWARE (CAS). Though CAS was created to track prisoners' lives and mobsters' antics, and was sold to the public as a tool for cops to use against prisoners and criminals, it is only a small part of A larger public menace called SOCIAL TRACKING EXPERT SYSTEM SOFTWARE (STESS) that the NSA and other secret and above-the-table police agencies are currently using on citizens today for massive data-mining and correlation of our lives. This is the massive, high-speed, computerized, US govt robosnooping reported and rapidly suppressed several years ago called ''Lantem'' and ''Echelon''.
The technology has gotten much more sophisticated, massive and efficient since then, including netbot "crawlers" that create, incredibly, snapshots of almost the entire domestic web every month, acres and acres of secret mainframe computer farms to cross-reference the information and analyse it, thousands of secret police to act on it and thousands of technicians, cyber experts and military planners whose goals are to quickly do even better, more intensive searches of the entire international web. (See some of the recent net technology articles in Scientific American for a good idea of how rapidly these sciences have advanced this past decade.)
Though their are hundreds of thousands of secret police and above-the-table cops in America, not one of them is in any prison policing the inmates. This is how the inmates manage to rate the name "gang!" The guards who are supposedly riding herd on them are hedging their bets. They fear the inevitable riots that standard, negligent, arrogant prison administration causes and make pacts with the inmates, saying, ''When the riot comes, you'll protect me, won't you? We're friends, right? I'll do stuff for you, and you'll return the favor when I need it, huh?''
In prison, there is permanent anarchy. This is rule by the biggest and stupidest, yet most cunning inmate who is able to puff and blow himself up into being the most powerful A "gang!" leader in the minds of the prison kops, he wins the most verbal contracts with them to smuggle in dope, tobacco, money, trinkets and delicacies such as lighters, sunflower seeds, etc; little talismans of power to show other inmates how he "has it goin' on!" There are no equalizers allowed, so the polite, the old, the small and the crippled eat crow daily and periodically get their valuables stolen. There is no punishment for the thieves. If the kops stuff a big idiot in your cage and he decides that he wants another big-idiot pal in your cage, he casually beats his victim bloody with a few fast suckerpunches, often while he is asleep or washing his hair in the shower and thus is effectively blinded. The kop forces the victim to start all over trying to work his way down to a lower rack and making a less-arduous cage out of a stripped cage. You've got to suffer the present occupant who has his crap spread out all over the place with no room for yours. It will be months or years before he gets shuffled off somewhere else and you can take his place.
If you try to make the guard act like a cop, and drag off the big punk who assaulted you, both the guards and the inmates brand you a "snitch". This is only one way that kops reward and encourage violence in prison. Cops protect each other and women and children. Guards protect each other and big-punk gangs because they and their administrators think that leaving big-punk gangs in charge equals control, calm, fewer injuries and murders, and less work for the guards. (See: Start a Fight; Get a Reward and A Social Puzzle You Can't Solve; Enjoy Prisoner Suffering, and; Wholesale Prison Murders, among others.)
Yes, our oh-so-professional prisoncrats have little use for proven 19th century psychological concepts such as the use of negative and positive re-enforcement. They're still stuck in the stone age of "the biggest bludgeon wins." You citizens can thank the prison-crats for the excess crime that you suffer as much as you can blame the stupid, big-punk gang criminals. Thanks to the prisoncrats and kops, big-punk criminals get rewarded for becoming more vicious, and their victims are given plenty of reasons to go insane seeking revenge.
To make progress against crime, put cops in prison and a real justice system to replace the secret, all-punishment, all-injustice, all the time system presently used to guarantee sky-high crime rates and a continuing explosion of cops, guards, judges, lawyers, prosecutors and social workers to enjoy and benefit from it.
