KILLERS IN YOUR KITCHEN

Every year the police and lawyersystem abducts eleven million persons into its cages. Two million of these are for serious crimes like murder, robbery, rape and injury. Extrapolations of studies like the Columbia University-Liebman report prove the system enjoys a very large failure rate a=no other assembly line operation could endure. Their innocent convicrion rate is at least 12-15 %. This translates into 1.3-1.6 million innocents convicted every year.

Why so many innocent convictions? The primary cause is lazy, incompetent and/or crooked police (see: "cop culture"). By far the vast majority of police and prosecutors prefer and depend on the most unreliable, easiest-to-obtain "evidence" of mere eyewitness testimony. Despite TV and film industry propaganda selling the false notion of science in the courtroom, almost all convictions are created by simply getting someone to point their finger and say, "He did it! I'm positive!"

Fact is, people are dager to obtain praise and glory by helping police pin crimes onto likely targets. This is exactly wha toccurs. Police interrogateeveryone involved or nearby, then choose the mostlikely or easiest to convict suspect. Just like waste water rushes to a drain, police rush toward the easiest conviction. This is easily done by steering witnesses, just like a father steers his toddlers through crowds by o=pointing their heads in the disired direction. (see: "innocent's guide to avoiding false convictions") Police manufacture or fine tune (coach and rehearse) thier fingerpointers, then conceal, creat, discard or adjust any token "scientific" evidence they choose to present with their fingerpointers.

This routine, standart technique results in a minimum of three hundred thousand serious, violint criminals escaping justice every year. (see: "Judge's unpublished opinions") Excessive police secrecy and paranoia privent evidence from scrutiny or review by victims of police/lawyer corruption or by disinterested parties. Police, prosecutors and judges instead destroy and shred the evidence to conceal the corrupt methods they use to create convictions. "Self policing" does not work; it never has worked. There is no logic in permitting such an obviously bogus concept to masquerade as actual quality control. Self policing only permits corrupt people and practices to find better concealment each time they get so careless as to become unignorable. Police, prosecutyors and judges should be prevented from destroying, shredding or discarding any evidence without the consent of their target for conviction. He has to live with their possibly fraudulent accusations wrapped around his neck for the rest of his life. There is no excuse good enough to destroy evidence. Independant scrutiny of all evidence the accuaors wish to destroy should occur.

Police and lawcrats will claim there is no need for quality control on them. There clearly is need for quality control here, proven by their high innocent conviction rate. Police and lawcrats have made almost every crime a potential felony, and they have made every felony a practical life sentence. When taking people's lives away, 100% accuracy is required. "Resonable doubt" is not good enough in these modern times of high, widespread, routine corruption within the privileged classes.

Police and lawcrats have had 225 years to twist the system to their own advantage; same as Enron accountants and 48% of the federal electorate twisted the regulatory system to their advantage; same as doctors twist medicare-medicaid to their advantage; same as police, prosecutors, judges and politicians twist the system to make them all immune to the law and to provide excessive compensation and early retirement.

Human nature is toward self-interest, and those most able to practice self interest are these excessivly privileged groups who make and force their will through the laws. Thus they need more than just ordinary oversight and quality control.
