SUPERCROOK CURE
There is little that is more revealing of character than cornering politicians or their spokesliars on the issue of their crimes. Politicians are a very secretive bunch between elections, and their crimes affect so many millions of people that a culprit is very hard to trace back to his lair. Worse, politicians perpetrate their crimes en masse, so that any blame is spread around thinly enough so that the culprits can point at each other and camoflage themselves as dolts, patsies and buffoons rather than the cunning, self-serving gangs of agenda-setting masterminds that they really are. Normally we can not force them to answer any questions; they simply run away. Every election year, however, they have to face the citizens. When their usual crimes of vote-trading, pork-snatching, kickback-catching, interest free "loan"-sucking, deregulation selling and warmongering cause the megalooting and hyperinflation to be traced back to them, they dodge by exclaiming, disingenuously, "It doesn't matter who is to blame! We should all just roll up our sleeves tighten our belts, put this behind us and move forward!" The corporations in control of Americas' airwaves have their news-talkers act like this is a logical request, but imagine hearing this same plea from lesser criminals who only rip off one person at a time. If a burglar told you this after ransacking king your home, wouldn't you a want to slap his face off? These republicans just spent eight years stealing all our money, even down to our child's piggybank, gave the entire world good reason to hate America, and now are in the act of laying a big, smelly turd on our kitchen table while they ask us for their re-election. Do we let them "Put this behind them?" Or do we put them in jail, same as any other incorrigible, unrepentant, repeat offender/career-criminal? Keep in mind that failure to punish encourages more, WORSE, crimes.
I guarantee you that the more you let them get away with their crimes, the more they will keep stealing your livelihood, lifestyle and quality of life. Just look how much they have stolen from us since the 60s. Back then, one man could support his wife and a family of four. Now you AND your spouse must BOTH work harder for less. MUCH less. Please keep this in mind the next time one of these grinning thieves ask for your vote, and my essay, "Electronic Voting: the Ferrari of Citizen Empowerment.
